Nick Lettiere, Meals on Wheels chef, is dedicated to making the meals look and taste great. He and his staff are determined to make well-balanced meals which taste home cooked.

The Meals on Wheels kitchen opened in March, 2002. The food is appealing and appetizing. The menu is varied seasonally and every attempt is made to avoid repetition. Sample menus for hot meals include stuffed shells, carrots and spinach or baked chicked with roasted potatoes and a green vegetable.

Three frozen entrees (protein, starch and vegetable) delivered on Saturday morning.

Each meal, hot or cold, provides one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy diet. Special diets are provided, including the following: Low Sodium, Low Fat, Low Cholesterol, Diabetic, Renal, Ground and Pureed. These diets require a physician's written order.
